Reacting to Karnataka becoming the first state to allow terminally ill patients the right to die with dignity, the state's health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao called it a "progressive move that needs to be seen with a fair lens". He said it'd bring relief to such patients and their families. Many countries worldwide have adopted this practice, Rao further said.
