Majoti Hussein, who was captured by Ukraine while fighting for Russia, is an Indian national who went to Russia to study. Majoti, 22, was sentenced to seven years in Russian prison on drug-related charges and signed contract to fight for Russia to avoid jail. Hussein, who hails from Gujarat's Morbi, received 16 days of training before his first combat mission.
