Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sissi announced that US President Donald Trump would be awarded Egypt's highest civilian honour, Order of the Nile, for efforts to stop Gaza war. He said this after Trump signed Gaza ceasefire document, alongside key mediators Egypt, Qatar and Turkey. El-Sisi also said that Trump's peace proposal represents the "last chance" for peace in the region.
