Janata Dal (United)'s Rajiv Ranjan Prasad clarified that party's state unit's decision to withdraw support from BJP-led state government in Manipur is "misleading and baseless". "We continue to stand with CM Biren Singh-led state government," Prasad said, adding, "JD(U)'s Manipur unit president has been removed from his post as he didn't consult central leadership before announcing the decision".
