Honda has paused production of its Activa e: and QC1 electric scooters since August 2025 due to unsold inventory. Despite manufacturing over 11,000 units between February and July, only 5,201 reached dealers. The QC1 outsold the Activa e: due to lower pricing and a portable charger, while limited city availability and reliance on swappable batteries hurt demand.
