A 64-year-old woman was squeezed by a 20-kg python in her kitchen for two hours near Bangkok in Thailand. The snake bit the woman multiple times. "I grabbed it by the head...but it wouldn't release me. It only tightened," she said. A neighbour heard the woman's screams after which authorities were called. Police and animal control officers rescued the woman.
