Amazon India is likely to lay off between 800 and 1,000 employees, The Financial Express reported, citing sources. The downsizing is part of a larger, global workforce reduction of 14,000 corporate roles announced by the e-commerce giant on Tuesday. The layoffs in India are planned to be carried out in three phases over next three days, sources told Financial Express.
