The Directorate General of Civil Aviation may soon announce curbs on carrying power banks in an airplane, Times of India reported. DGCA is reportedly studying limits on quantity, mandates for visible capacity ratings, restrictions on in-flight charging, and fixed placement rules for storage. This move comes after a passenger saw their power bank catching fire on a Dimapur-bound IndiGo flight.
