Delhi Police have registered four FIRs against dog lovers who protested without permission on August 11 and 12 against the Supreme Court’s order to send stray dogs in Delhi-NCR to shelters within eight weeks. "In view of Independence Day security, BNSS 163 is in force," police said. They added that clashes erupted when officers tried to disperse demonstrators.
