Forest officials raided an apartment in Dombivali, Maharashtra and found exotic animals including lizard, turtles, rare species of snakes and other reptiles stored in the flat after an anonymous tip-off. They also found a caged orangutan in the washroom. "The snakes found are valued at ₹10 lakh and above in the market," said wildlife conservationist Ankit Vyas.
