BJP MLAs Mahesh Landge and Shankar Jagtap have backed an online petition demanding the inclusion of Hinjawadi IT Park and adjoining areas within Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The petition alleges the region suffers from poor civic infrastructure, including chronic traffic, waterlogging, and inadequate services. Supporters say merging Hinjawadi with PCMC will bring unified governance.
