Sitting Congress MLA from Kasba, Afaque Alam, on Monday accused the party of distributing tickets in exchange for money in Bihar ahead of the state Assembly elections. "Those who could pay were given preference. I lost my ticket because I refused to pay," he alleged. Alam urged central leadership to order a probe into what he described as “institutionalised extortion”.
