At least 10 devotees were injured following a stampede-like situation at the Deviramma Hill Temple in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru on Thursday. "The incident occurred as devotees were descending the hill shrine," Chikkamagaluru Rural Police Inspector M Sachin said. Some of the devotees slipped on the rugged terrain which led to stampede-like situation, and sustained serious hand and foot injuries.
