Sudhir Kumar, a 25-year-old official on SIR duty, died by suicide in UP's Fatehpur a day before his wedding. His family has alleged that Sudhir not allowed leave for his marriage even after submitting an application. He allegedly took the step after he was suspended for not attending a meeting related to the ongoing electoral roll revision in the state.
