Neuroplasticity refers to brain's ability to absorb information and evolve to manage new challenges throughout life. It includes structural plasticity, which is brain's ability to actually change its physical structure as a result of learning, and functional plasticity, which is brain's ability to move functions from damaged area to undamaged area.
