The Amarnath Yatra was suspended for Thursday from both Pahalgam and Baltal base camps due to heavy rain in the valley over the last two days. This necessitated restoration work on tracks along both routes, Kashmir Divisional Commissioner Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said, adding that the yatra will likely resume on Friday, depending on the weather conditions.
