Fashion designer and socialite Nandita Mahtani was late Sona Comstar Chairman Sanjay Kapur's first wife. The couple tied the knot in 1996 and divorced in 2000. As per reports, the primary reason behind Mahtani not being a part of the inheritance battle over Kapur's ₹30,000-crore estate is that they didn't have children together. Mahtani has previously dated actor Ranbir Kapoor.
