A 55-year-old man, Dunda Malhari Nimse, died when his house collapsed due to heavy rains and strong winds in Alyani village, Shahapur taluka, Thane district. Officials reported on Sunday that Nimse was buried under the debris of his home on the morning of July 26. Police have registered it as a case of accidental death.
