BJP accused the Indian National Congress (INC) of corruption after Jyothi Prakash, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Karnataka's Energy Minister KJ George, was caught accepting a ₹50,000 bribe to sanction electricity to a private builder. "INC means I Need Corruption...Their government's motto is 'Congress for the corrupt, by the corrupt, of the corrupt," said BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla.
