An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter scale hit Pakistan at around 1:44 am (IST) on Saturday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The earthquake hit at a depth of 10 kilometres at a latitude of 29.67 and a longitude of 66.10. There were no immediate reports of any damage or injuries.
