Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was among 171 activists who were deported by Israel on Monday. The deportees, all of whom were aboard Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla, were sent to Greece and Slovakia, Israeli Foreign Ministry confirmed. The move came after reports claimed Thunberg and others were tortured in Israeli custody, given insufficient food and held in undesirable conditions.
