Shyanne McIntosh, who represented Gibraltar at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City, is the shortest-ever contestant to have participated in the pageant's history. McIntosh, who is about 5 foot 1 inch-tall, said during the final, "I may be small, but I stand tall." McIntosh did not make it to the top 30 contestants.
