PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated Phase 1 of the newly constructed Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The NMIA is built at a cost of ₹19,650 crore and is India’s largest greenfield airport project, developed under the Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model. The airport, which will be India’s first fully digital airport, is supported by a fully automated and AI-enabled terminal.
