Haryana IPS officer, Y Puran Kumar, reportedly died by suicide on October 7, a day after his bodyguard, Head Constable Sushil Kumar, was arrested in ₹2.5 lakh bribery case in Rohtak, according to The Print. Rohtak SP said complaint was received on Monday from a liquor contractor, alleging that Sushil was demanding a bribe in the name of IPS Kumar.
