The woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted on the South Asian University campus told police that the hostel in-charge blamed her when she sought help after the alleged incident. The hostel in-charge reportedly remarked that "girls have many boyfriends". The victim claimed that when she wanted to video-call her mother, she was prevented from doing so.
