Thinking Machines Lab, former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati's AI startup, is offering as much as $500,000 (about ₹4.3 crore) base pay to star employees, Business Insider reported. This amount doesn't include sign-on bonuses and equity awards. This comes despite Thinking Machines Lab not having launched any products yet. Notably, four employees earning about $500,000 are immigrants on H-1B visas.
