Jharkhand recorded a 29.31% voter turnout by 11 am in the first phase of Assembly elections, according to the Election Commission. Khunti led with 34.12%, followed by Gumla at 33.86%, Lohardaga with 33.44%, and Simdega at 33.18%. Ranchi had a turnout of 24.75%, while Ramgarh recorded the lowest at 24.17%. Voting began at 7 am across 43 seats.
