Jharkhand DGP Anurag Gupta ruled out any peace talks with the Maoists, saying they only have three options - surrender, get arrested, or get killed in an encounter. "Whenever they feel weakened, they talk about peace negotiations...These are just tactics," he said, adding that if they want peace, they must surrender. Gupta also listed regions which are completely Naxal-free now.
