Prime Minister's Office (PMO) reportedly told Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) and CPCB to expedite work on a new emission inventory. PMO also asked for an action plan to redevelop major urban and industrial roads to curb dust pollution, The Indian Express reported. Action against Delhi-NCR pollution was based on old emissions data, National Green Tribunal was told earlier.
