Maharashtra caretaker CM Eknath Shinde remained at his residence in Thane after returning from his village and cancelled all meetings on Monday citing poor health. BJP leader and former minister Girish Mahajan met him. The meeting sparked speculations that Mahajan discussed a power-sharing pact with Shinde as Devendra Fadnavis is likely to become BJP's pick for the CM post.
