Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan said he felt "sad and restless" after seeing that his father and legendary musician Roshan Lal Nagrath's contribution to Hindi cinema was neglected. Rakesh said he was surprised to know that Shashi Ranjan, who directed their documentary 'The Roshans', knew his father's songs. "I told him, 'Why don't you make a documentary on him?'" said Rakesh.
