Israel's Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday threatened to overthrow the government if Israel does not occupy the Gaza Strip. Smotrich stated that Israel must occupy Gaza and create a temporary military government because there is no other way to defeat Hamas. Earlier, three Israeli ministers resigned from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet over the Gaza ceasefire deal.
