After PM Narendra Modi claimed that RSS workers were jailed during India's freedom movement, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticised him, saying that after RSS' formation, not a single member was jailed. He added, "RSS founder KB Hedgewar was once...member of Congress...and his biography mentions that he participated in Dandi March...and went to jail only to recruit freedom fighters to RSS."
