The US government has been shut down for over 19 days now, marking the third-longest shutdown in the country's history. The shutdown, the 15th since 1981, is eclipsed only by the shutdowns of 1995 and 2018-19. The US Senate will reconvene and vote on Monday for the 11th time to end the government shutdown.
