Lake levels in the seven reservoirs supplying water to Mumbai have surged to 54.27 per cent. The total water stock stands at 7,85,492 million litres. The Middle Vaitarna lake recorded highest rise in level at 1.40 metres, bringing its storage to 1,21,379 ML, which is 62.72% of its full capacity. Other major contributors include Upper Vaitarna at 69.40% (157,570 ML.
