CISF constable Amol Savant revealed that he and his two colleagues became the "first responders" after a Navy speedboat crashed into a passenger ferry off Mumbai's coast. "We saw people...ready to throw their children in the ocean...thinking...they'd be saved from the sinking ship. I asked them not to panic," he said. The jawan added that he too felt "shaken".
