White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said US operations of TikTok will be majority-owned by Americans under a deal reached this week. Leavitt said Americans would hold six of the seven board seats for TikTok and the video app's algorithm would be controlled by America. She further said TikTok's data and privacy will be led by Oracle.
