The US has charged 57-year-old Indian national Sanjay Kaushik for conspiring to illegally export aviation components with civilian and military applications to end users in Russia via India. Kaushik is also charged with attempting to illegally export a navigation and flight control system from Oregon to Russia via India. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 20 years in jail.
