Russian President Vladimir Putin said he wished PM Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday on behalf of his ministers. Putin said, "Throughout modern history...or more precisely, since the time of the Soviet Union...relations between India and Russia are of an exclusively trusting, friendly and non-partisan nature." He added the relations are based on national consensus both in Russia and India.
