A distant planet, KMT-2020-BLG-0414, located 4,000 light-years away, has been discovered orbiting a white dwarf. The rocky planet, 1.9 times Earth's mass, offers a glimpse of what Earth might resemble in 5 billion years when our sun becomes a white dwarf. If Earth survives, it could share similar characteristics to this distant world, the research added.
