The Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) pod taxi project in Mumbai has received approval from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority, marking progress for the ₹1,016.34-crore initiative to improve connectivity. While promising efficient travel for 4 to 6 lakh daily commuters, the project will impact 0.14 hectares of mangroves and require cutting down 431 trees.
