Uttar Pradesh attracted the most domestic tourists in 2024-25 with 646.81 million tourists, who accounted for 21.94% of the national share, according to Ministry of Tourism data. UP was followed by Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Maharashtra. Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana stood at 8th, 9th, and 10th positions, respectively.
