Ex-Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar, during a cricket show, mistakenly referred to India opener Abhishek Sharma as Abhishek Bachchan. "If Pakistan get Abhishek Bachchan out early on in a hypothetical situation, then what's going to happen with the middle-order?" Akhtar had said. Reacting to it, Bachchan stated, "Don’t think they'll even manage that! And I'm not even good at playing cricket."
