The Uttarakhand Police’s special investigation team (SIT) has concluded that journalist Rajiv Pratap died after driving under influence of alcohol and crashing his car on September 18 before falling into a river. Investigators said Pratap had been drinking with a policeman and his cameraman. The policeman told the SIT he had warned Pratap not to drive as he seemed unsteady.
