Apple has been sued by two neuroscientists in the US for allegedly using "shadow libraries" of thousands of pirated books to train Apple Intelligence. The datasets also included other copyright-infringing materials scraped from the internet, the lawsuit claimed. It added that Apple gained over $200 billion in value the day after unveiling the AI system.
