Gandhian heritage sites in Maharashtra's Wardha district, including Gandhi Smriti Bhavan, Kasturba Kitchen and Wardha Haat, are set for a ₹45-crore makeover funded by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialization (MGIRI). The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) will oversee the conservation and restoration of the sites.
