Veteran actor Prakash Raj, who served as jury head for 55th Kerala State Film Awards, spoke about his thoughts on Mammootty's chances of winning National Film Awards. He said, "I don't mind saying that National Film Awards are compromised." He spoke against the biased nature of National Awards and said, "When files and piles are getting awards...they don't deserve Mammootty."
