Nigeria on Sunday honoured PM Narendra Modi with its The Grand Commander Of The Order Of The Niger (GCON) award. Late Queen Elizabeth is the only foreign dignitary who has been awarded GCON in 1969. This is the 17th such international award being conferred to Prime Minister Modi by a country, the government said.
