Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal has been elected as Supreme Court Bar Association President for the fourth time. Sibal secured 1,066 votes and defeated nearest rival Senior Counsel Pradeep Rai who got 689 votes. Sibal had served as the President of SCBA in 1995-1996, 1997-1998 and 2001-02. Advocate Rachana Srivastava has been elected as Vice President.
