UNESCO declared UP's Lucknow a "Creative City of Gastronomy", making it the second Indian city to win the title after Hyderabad. Lucknow is among 70 gastronomy cities worldwide and the formal announcement was made at the 43rd session of UNESCO's General Conference in Uzbekistan. Reacting to the news PM Narendra Modi invited "people from around the world to visit Lucknow".
